DR . N. Sreedharan, HPA ( 1921-2004)

An  Ayurveda  scholar   par   exellence. He  started  his career as a  tutor  at  the  Govt  ayurveda college    Trivandrum, and later  he went  on  to  become  the  principle  and  director,Indian systems  0f   medicine. In  his  illustrious  career  as an  academician, physician, administrator, he  had  few firsts  to  his  credit. He was  one of  the  first  physicians  who  was  honoured  with  post graduate  degree  in  ayurveda, he  was  the  first  MD of  OUSHADI  a  govt  run  pharmacuetical  company, he  was also one  of  the  first  senior  physicians  who  was  awarded   a  fellowship  of  the  NATIONAL  ACADEMY  FOR AYURVEDA, He  was  the  director  of  the panchakarma  department      a   Maharishi  Mahesh  Yogis  world  centre for  ayurveda  near  NewDelhi in  1994 and  he  started  MITRA  AYURVEDIC  RESEARCH  CENTRE  in  trivandrum.
